Semarang, April 1, 2024 – Industrial Electrical Engineering students from the Vocational School of Diponegoro University actively participate in training and competency certification as main implementers in the field of electrical power installation. This week-long training aims to enhance their understanding of electrical power installation and distribution.

In the era of digitalization and the increasing demand for renewable energy, skills in electrical power installation are becoming increasingly important. Industrial electrical engineering students are expected to have a deep understanding of modern electrical systems and the latest technologies integrated into these installations.

This training is organized by the institution PT.SERTIKOMLIS. The students not only gain theoretical understanding but also practical experience in designing, installing, and maintaining complex electrical power systems.

This training and certification program is part of the 2024 Competitive Fund Program organized by the Directorate General of Vocational Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. This program provides grants for various activities aimed at improving the quality of human resources in the fields of vocational education, research, and technology. One aspect of this program is the provision of training and certification to enhance the skills and competencies of the workforce in various industrial sectors.

Moreover, this training also provides students with the opportunity to connect with industry professionals, build networks, and gain direct insights into the latest trends and developments in the electrical power industry.

Arkhan Subari, S.T., M.Kom., as the Chair of the Industrial Electrical Engineering Study Program, expresses his hope that this training will make a significant contribution to the development of students’ skills and knowledge. “We hope that our students will not only become quality graduates but also professionals ready to compete on the global stage,” he said.

Trainings and competency certifications like these are expected to provide a boost to the improvement of human resources quality in the electrical power sector, as well as support sustainable energy infrastructure development in Indonesia.
