Installation of a Public Drinking Water Reverse Osmosis (RO) System at RT 08 / RW 10, Lerep Village, West Ungaran District.

Semarang, October 9, 2025 — A healthy society tends to be more productive and contributes positively to development. Conversely, the health burden caused by the consumption of contaminated water can hinder economic progress. Therefore, the development of clean water supply technology and inclusive water distribution policies has become a strategic element in addressing this challenge. By considering health, economic, and environmental sustainability factors, the provision of safe and ready-to-drink water for the public must be a priority in planning and implementing development programs, both at the local and national levels.

The proposed community service program aims to provide a practical and applicable technological solution through the implementation of a “Public Drinking Water Reverse Osmosis System” as a facility to supply ready-to-drink water for the residents of RT 08 / RW 10, Lerep Village, West Ungaran District.
